Biodegradable - Means being able to be broken down by natural processes, into more basic components in a set time frame. Products are usually broken down by bacteria, fungi or other simple organisms without affecting the environment. Most of the products from CLEAN PLUS Chemicals contain readily Biodegradable ingredients.
NON-phosphate - Phosphate from detergents eventually ends up in creeks, wetlands and rivers via waterways leading to ALGAE BLOOMS. This reduces the amount of oxygen and creates problems for aquatic life. CLEAN PLUS Chemicals strives to avoid Phosphate usage wherever possible.
Low phosphate - Phosphates are builders which decrease the hardness of water allowing the detergent to wash clothes, dishes and cars better and keeps dirt in suspension with water. However, this property of Phosphates makes them more effective in cleaning industry. The usage of phosphate in some of the CLEAN PLUS Chemicals products complies with the agreed phosphorous standard of less than 7.8 grams per wash.
Septic Safe - Septic systems are a type of On-Site Sewage Facility. The term “septic” refers to the anaerobic bacterial environment that develops in the tank and that decomposes or mineralizes the waste discharged into the tank. Most of CLEAN PLUS Chemicals products are SEPTIC SAFE when used in accordance to the dilution rates provided which does not interfere in bacterial activities.
